Building to permanence
A phased capital investment of approximately €108 million, raised over five years in three sequential phases. Each phase unlocks the next.
Three things are already true: Kremsegg Castle is secured. The Founding Rector is in place. The regulatory pathway is mapped. What the university needs now is a small number of founding partners whose early commitment allows the first, foundational steps to be taken.
Completion of the property acquisition (€3M) and establishment of the financial reserve required under Austrian law before accreditation (€15M).
What it unlocks: the university’s ability to formally exist as an accredited institution. It is the immediate priority — the condition on which everything else depends. Without it, the university cannot open. With it, every subsequent phase becomes possible.
The full renovation of Kremsegg Castle: lecture halls, meditation spaces, residential facilities, research infrastructure, and contemplative archives.
What it unlocks: a fully functioning academic campus.
Endowments for the university, the Kremsegg School, the Penzo library, and facility operations, together with retirement of the mortgage.
What it unlocks: the institution — and the wisdom it carries — secured for every generation that follows.
A detailed Campaign Information Sheet, including the endowment rationale and phase-by-phase milestones, is available to prospective founding partners on request.
